Robert Poling founded LP Heating & Air Conditioning Company in 1977 with a vision to set a higher standard in the industry. While working HVAC construction in his late 20’s, he saw the gaps in quality and service and quickly decided it was time to move out on his own. 

Robert started with 2 employees and quickly grew to over 20 in just a few years. During this time, he helped design, build, and lead the mechanical construction of some of the largest buildings in the state of Maryland and surrounding areas. With this experience, it has helped launch LP into a level of its own and has become one of the most referred to mechanical contractors for construction and service solutions in the state of Maryland.

Robert holds a master license in HVACR and has over 50 years of experience in the industry.

In his free time, he enjoys boating and traveling across the country with his wife Sue.
