Goodwill Center
The community of Sterling, VA now has a great new addition when it comes to affordable shopping. This Goodwill Center consisted of the installation of four (4) Carrier gas fired RTU’s, bathroom exhaust fans, and over 8,000 lbs. of ductwork.
In collaboration with Doyle Construction, we completed this project in March of 2024. This Goodwill store is a great addition to the local community and will help people with affordable clothing and items for years to come.
Goodwill stores are a network of non-profit thrift shops that offer a wide range of second-hand items, including clothing, furniture, and household goods, at affordable prices. Founded in 1902 by Reverend Edgar J. Helms, Goodwill Industries aims to provide job training, employment placement services, and other community-based programs for people facing challenges to finding employment. Proceeds from sales support these initiatives, making each purchase a contribution to local communities. Today, Goodwill operates more than 3,300 stores across the United States and Canada, continuing its mission to enhance the dignity and quality of life of individuals and families.
